Under Islamic Sharia law Christians, who have converted from being a Muslim, get the death sentence.
That is where ever Islam rules. Now there is religious freedom recognized in Afghanistan & Iraq, because of their constitutions. They are to recognize crimes against humanity and it is illegal to kill someone for their faith.
In countries where Islam takes over, Christians get killed, and this has been going on for a very long time. So also, in china, Christians are persecuted also. And in North Korea. Christians are being Martyred for their faith. The biggest killer is Islam though.
Islam is Antichrist. What agreement is there between Christ and the Antichrist?

I think the main religious difference is that Christians believe that Jesus was God's son and part of a divine trinity, and that they think the only way to salvation was to believe in this and that he died for human sins. In contrast Muslims believe that God is really one, does not consist of a trinity and doesn't have a son, they believe that Jesus was a prophet and that he wasn't really crucified, but someone who looked similar to him and that Christians mistaked that. So this is the basic theologic conflict between the two: The radical Christians think that everyone will go to hell who doesn't believe in their Jesus theology and they can't stand it that Muslims refuse that so "obstinately" (in the Christian view) - same thing created hatred against Jews for long time although it looks that nowadays the Evangelical Christians started to see Jews as "God's chosen people" and have reversed their hate towards them to the opposite, maybe that's why now they concentrate their anger on Muslims.
On the other hand Muslims think it is wrong to say God has a son and to worship a human being as God, and for radicals that can be a reason to get angry with Christians.
Anyway it doesn't mean they can't live in peace with each other if they are just not that much radical. Both religions have a concept of peace in them, it is neither a Christian nor a Muslim teaching to attack and kill others because of their faith - it is really not a Muslim teaching, those Quran verses on war that Christians often quote are taken out of context, they are meant for a condition that Muslims are attacked by an enemy, there are several Quran verses that say it is not allowed to fight those who want peace.
Egypt that has 90 % Muslim and 10 % Christian population is a very good example for a peaceful coexistance of Muslims and Christians.

First of all the difference between islam and christianity is like the difference between day and night. One group teaches hate, terror, that all who are not of their group are infidels and should be killed. The other teaches love, truth, and seek to spread that love and truth to others hoping to gain them for their cause. You decide which one of the two you think is the right one.. I'll give you a clue, unless you are for hate and murder, terrorism, then the one that teaches truth and love would out weigh the other one.
If putting ones laws up against another is a sin then so be it. The only similarity between the two is they both believe there is but one god.

People are gone mad ,people are selfish they use their religions their families their nations their knowledge to justify and fulfill their own desires. Thats the reason why Muslims and christians kill each other thats why shias and sunnis kill each other thas why catholic and protestants r farther apart thats the reason why osama attack USA; thats why USA attack afghanistan and Iraq. There is a greed for resources and desires and own beliefs. GOD dont order to kill each other.People make differences in people to fulfill there own missions. People use people.

All religions believe in the same God, He is known by different names. As for the bad mouthing and the killings, I put the
al-quidas in the same catagory as the KKK. Every religion has their bad apples.

Islam teaches that Jesus, the foundation of Christianity was a good MAN. Christianity teaches that Jesus is GOD. Jesus says that He Himself is God.
Either Jesus is Lord or a liar, or a lunatic.

Good question... thank you!
We shouldn't blame the religions, instead we should blame those followers who blindly spread hatred and violence...
