Didn't he indicate that the only way to salvation was through him and conversely, anyone who didn't believe in him, no matter how good, was destined for eternal torment in hell? Doesn't this mean he was condemning the vast majority of humans who have ever lived to eternal torture?

Do you really believe about Jesus what others put into his mouth?

Jesus was murdered by the establishment and the establishment later invented Christianity, because it turned out to be an effective way to manipulating and exploiting the masses.

Jesus never said anything of the kind. Should you care to read about the true teachings of Christ, perhaps you could click on "Rational Spirituality" on the Dhaxem website.

I hope that you will be guided to the Truth about Christ from your heart.

Jesus is the ultimate lover. He shed His own blood to redeem us from our sins so we wont have to go to hell, but can go to heaven to be with God forever.

The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life, through faith.

Buela Airtime, Jesus is talking to His enemies (27), where His Words are that what condemns them. His enemies are not born again Christians. This is also in the future as a judgment. Jesus Christ is LORD. Every knee shall bow & tongue confess this. God has exalted Jesus, our resurrected Savior, name above all names.

No. GOD does not condemn anyone to hell. People condemn themselves. It is harder to believe in God and Jesus than not to, but if a person's heart is open, and they constantly quest for truth, they will find it.
The way isn't that hard.
Faith and goodness coexist together. If one does good works, but they do it only for themselves and not for God, it's meaningless. Similarly, if a person professes to love God, and does nothing to help others, his "belief" is meaningless.
Keep in mind also that Jesus WAS tortured, and brutally killed. Crucifixion was one of the most inhumane methods of execution, and yet He suffered that, for us.
That is not hate. That is LOVE beyond comprehension.

well It is not about who is a nice guy or who isn't. It is about who owns and is King of this world. At work you do what the boss wants or hit the road. You obey the laws of the land or jail. We are surrounded by situations where we have to submit. This is all about who will enter the Kingdom of God..
Chooce this day who you will serve!

Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Muslims honor and respect Jesus, son of Mary (peace be upon him and all of God's prophets). Muslims believe that he was one in a long line of honorable prophets, who taught his people to worship and obey the One True Lord, the Creator. The Qur'an describes him:

Of all the prophets, Jesus is probably the most written about in the Qur'an. Various stories in the Islamic text talk about his miraculous birth, his ministry, his disciples, and the message that he brought to his people. Muslims always speak of Jesus with respect, and "Issa" (the Arabic rendition of his name) is a common given name in the Muslim world.

The Qur'an makes it very clear that Jesus was a prophet, chosen by God to teach his people, but not associated with nor part of God Himself. He performed miracles, by the grace and power of God alone. He of himself could do nothing -- all of his glory pointed back to the One Almighty God.

In the end, Muslims believe that the message Jesus preached was one and the same as the message that all of the prophets brought to their people: Worship Almighty God, and Him Alone. Have faith, and live your life according to that faith.

Yes. It is mandatory for Muslims to believe that:

1. Jesus is a major prophet, and the 2nd last prophet sent from God.
2. Jesus was born to Mary, a virgin, without father.
3. Jesus is not the son of God. Nor he is God.
4. Jesus didn't die on cross. He was taken to Heaven by God. Jesus will return before the end of time.
5. Jesus talked when he was a child, and Jesus healed people with leprosy and other diseases, by will of God.

It is also worth mentioning that no Muslim is allowed to mock Jesus, make fun of Jesus, ridicule or disrespect Jesus in any way. It is considered a serious blasphemy in Islam. Whoever does that is not a proper Muslim, s/he must repent sincerely to God

Jesus said...46I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness. 47"As for the person who hears my words but does not keep them, I do not judge him. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save it. 48There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; that very word which I spoke will condemn him at the last day. (John 5)

It doesn't make sense, if I'm going to be honest. No wonder I'm having such a hard time with christianity.
