I'm sure all Christians agree that the only way to God is Jesus Christ. He's the only One who can save us. Salvation comes from Him, because He is Salvation in person!
A religion itself does not save us. However, it takes an important role in our Christian life styles. Our first responsibility is to ask God to reveal His will and message for us. Most of His message we find it in His Word, the Bible. So the next part is to look for a church who does the will of God. A religion that follows the Bible.
Why do we need a church? The Bible says that the church is the body of Christ. We can't love the Head (Jesus) and despise the body (the church). If we love Jesus, we'll love His church too. Besides, we're social beings. We need the communion with each other. It' like the fire. If you put something on the fire, as long as it is in the fire it will remain lite. But if you take that thing out the fire, it will eventually cool down. The same happens with us. We need to socialize with our brothers. Worship God along with other people and encouraging one another. That's why the Church is there.

The Scriptures clearly teach that Christianity is the way to God. The only remaining question is which denomination represents true Christianity.
Jehovah's Witnesses teach that no salvation occurs without Christ, that accepting Christ's sacrifice is a requirement for true worship, that every prayer must acknowledge Christ, that Christ is the King of God's Kingdom, that Christ is the head of the Christian congregation, that Christ is immortal and above every creature, even that Christ was the 'master worker' in creating the universe!
Even so, the bible most closely associates being "Christian" with PREACHING about Christ and Christ's teachings. Review all three times the bible uses the term "Christian" and note that the context connects the term with:
"declaring the good news"
'teaching quite a crowd'
'open eyes, turn from dark to light'
"uttering sayings of truth"
"persuade"
"keep on glorifying"
(Acts 11:20-26) [The early disciples of Jesus] began talking to the Greek-speaking people, declaring the good news of the Lord Jesus... and taught quite a crowd, and it was first in Antioch that the disciples were by divine providence called Christians.
(Acts 26:17-28) [Jesus said to Paul] I am sending you, to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light and from the authority of Satan to God... Paul said: “I am not going mad, Your Excellency Festus, but I am uttering sayings of truth and of soundness of mind. ...Do you, King Agrippa, believe the Prophets? I know you believe.” But Agrippa said to Paul: “In a short time you would persuade me to become a Christian.”
(1 Peter 4:14-16) If you are being reproached for the name of Christ, you are happy... But if he suffers as a Christian, let him not feel shame, but let him keep on glorifying God in this name
Sadly, so-called "Christians" try to hijack the term "Christian" and hide its Scriptural implications. Yet, the preaching work makes it clear that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are by far the most prominent followers of Christ:
(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded
Of course, the Almighty is the Judge of all mankind. Ultimately, it is He who will determine which persons qualify to live forever and which do not.

Most all of these have one thing in common. They believe Jesus is the ONLY way to God. (Minus Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, Muslims. Methodists and Episcopals have gotten very liberal (luke warm).

During The Old Testament, for mens The Heaven was closed, because the sin of Adam and Eva. In The New Testament ,after The Resurection of Jesus Christ, our SAVIOR ,Jesus was Suffering for the sins of ALL MENS (even mens with other religion, the Love doesn't do difference)fom the Earth, past, present and future and so ,The Heaven was opened for mens.
I think it is very good to think about God,in any way,God is LOVE and we all need that Love, but i read in my life ,only about one Savior of mens ,Jesus Christ and i love all the profets which God in His great Love sent to the mens of the Earth, from each we can learn very much good things, because God is our Father in Heaven and God whants the goodness of menkind.God Bless we all.

You know, I'm not sure if I believe in "a god" or not. (Mostly I do, I think, and then some days I don't.)
But I think if there is something out there, it's way too big and powerful and awesome for any one person or any group of people to see all of it at once. I think people have seen facets of it and follow the light reflecting from it.

Actually, I'm a Chritian and I claim the Bible and the Bible says "Jesus saith unto him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.'"
Any religion that claims "they" are the "way" to God is lying. I don't care if they are Baptist, Catholic, or Muslim. They are wrong.

Mind you, Methodists don't think their denomination is the only way. They just focus mainly on John 3:16 as their beliefs about the afterlife-- that your only need is to believe in Jesus and whatnot.

Isn't it cute the way the Christians eat each other? You start with one premise, and then bang, everyone has a theory. The only ones that know are dead and they aren't talking about it. What the modern day religion is, is no more that a club which initiates new member by how they believe in the same book/s. Religions are man-made, man-maintained, male dominated which should tell you something about the truth in them and their ability to prove anything.
