As a qualified nurse of many years i am horrified that you are asking this on line, if you are studying, GO STUDY, i certainly wouldn't want you near me if you learnt how to do your job off a computer, nursing is a practical occupation, despite all the paperwork they throw at us, discuss this scenario with trained staff around you, get the hands on approach. If you are someone going through this, i apologise, ask the nurses and doctors around you and keep asking until it makes sense

You would do a lot better reading the subject since you are clearly doing an assignment and a Nurse who used yahoo answers to learn their science is one I would want nowhere near me!
