In Judaism, the Messiah initially meant any person who was anointed by a prophet of God.
In English today, it is used in two major contexts: the anticipated saviour of the Jews, and one who is anticipated as, regarded as, or professes to be a saviour or liberator.
Jews, however, do not generally use the word "saviour" in reference to the messiah, primarily because of the Christian connotation of the word "saviour," and the sense in which that word is used by Christianity.

The Jews believe that a Messiah will come and set them free. Jesus was not the Messiah, he was/is the Son of God who came to show us the way to eternal life.
Miz Kassandra is right. Let's not get too carried away with this.
May your mind be filled with peace, your heart with love, and your days with joy.

The Christ was not human. Go read all the other "crucified savior" legends throughout history and see if you can figure out what event in earth's past they are talking about. One event brought life to this planet and it had nothing to do with invisible dieites.

No. The only ones who can save us from anything is ourselves. Individually and as a group. Waiting for a "Prince Charming" to ride in on a white horse is pointless.
