They will pretty much have the same signs of a stalker.

Calling constantly,
pictures of you everywhere,
using "we" and "us" in their sentences if you are not a couple
seem to have this "in love" feeling when around you,
wanting anything you wear, have, or have used.
etc

if hes there everywhere you go, sending you text messages and phoning you all the time, you may think that these are the actions of someone in love, but if it gets to the point where you feel uncomfortable, as yoiu obviously do then it is a problem and he is getting obsessed. Ask him to stop or at least back off a bit, if he doesnt then he has a serious problem and you are able to seek further help or legal advice.

OH my, there are so many answers to this question. The best way to determine if someone is obsessed with you is to check out there behavior!! That's most important. Next, the person always wants to know where you are at and what you are doing, who you are with etc...NOT sure how old you are but be careful

* Rapid successive phone calls
* Unwanted gifts such as flowers, jewelry, or clothes
* Restrictive behaviors, like not allowing you to have friends or relationships with family members

Usually these red flags will occur within days of meeting someone new. The attraction on the part of the obsessed person is instantaneous.

If they suddenly appear no matter where you go. If you see them pop up at places that you have never seen them before. If you keep getting messages and phone calls from them every waking hour and then some. That could be a good hint

-Stalking, continous calling and sms-ing
-Your friends tell you that she's been digging for your info

No worries, just tell her that you want her to adjust a little of her feelings or actions that made you feel uncomfortable. She'll be hurt though... so be nice and tactful.

They wont leave you alone at all, constant calls, text messages, no chance to be with your friends alone. Gifts, cards, emails, you name it........ If you are feeling this way then you are probably right with your feelings.
