According to the Code of Canon Law, Canon 910:

The "Ordinary Minister of Holy Communion" is a bishop, presbyter, or deacon.

The "Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion" is a non-ordained member of the Christian faithful.

they are ecumenical ministers or lay ministers they have to go for religious classes to become such a person and have to be picked by the bishop of your community.
