i mean this hurts me still alot its been about 3 months since we broke up, but we were together almost 7 years. a week after i moved out, he had another girlfriend it just seems like this is so easy for him to forget all about me and replace me with someone else so fast. i dont get it at all. i dont know why he would just be able to forget all the memories and everything we shared together

He is doing this to deal with his pain. Trust me it's a rebound thing. Deep down he still loves you. He just needs some distraction otherwise he will be going absolutely crazy. It isn't easy on him and you have to not think any less of him. Understand his pain like it were yours

I am sorry to hear that you are hurt. But sometimes, think of the positive implications. You now know he is a lout. So why cry for him? Also consider this. If he can replaced you so fast, it is evident he was already seeing his new gf before you break up. This also means he is cheating on you. So what sort of person is this? Is this sort of people worth it? Did you loose any possession after moving out? I think it is more important you try to redeem what is rightfully yours. You have been living together for seven yeats. Surely, there is something you owned there? Perhaps you can take a slice of his salary or you can take a share of his home? This is what you should be more concerned about.
I also don't think he is in any pain.

You are now finding out that you gave yourself to a loser. Lots of girls make this mistake and it hurts! Maybe he said "I love you, Baby," but a guy can say "I love Big Macs" and it means the same thing as what he meant - "I love Big Macs/you until I'm full, then I don't want any more."
What you need, girlfriend, is REAL LOVE. You deserve it. You were made for it. REAL LOVE is for life, not a few years. When a man offers REAL LOVE, he gives you a ring and a new last name. He welcomes any children your love creates. He stays with you through thick or thin. He gives himself COMPLETELY to you, and you alone, not only physically, but mentally and spiritually as well. This is what you need and long for. This is REAL LOVE.
Your old boyfriend wasn't good enough for you. Let him go. I promise you, the pain will fade in time - it hurts to be used! Let him use another woman, not you. Get your life together and do not fall for the "I love you," that only wants a sex partner. Wait for REAL LOVE!

It seems like he lost interest in you a long time ago if he can move on that fast ...This new chick is all new and exciting to him and after that wears off he will realize what he lost.. If it lasted 7 years he didn't just forget about you! Now is your chance to see what else is out there ..enjoy being single for awhile until your over him..DON'T take him back..

He can't possibly forget everything about you and him especially when its 7 years of relationship. And sometimes in life, we just don't have a choice with the way things become. He has moved on and its also a time for you to do so.
Positively thinking, a break up brings you closer to your Mr Right.

Probably no surprise to you now, but he forgot you long before you moved out. if he had a "new" girl so fast, it's because he had her a long time before she moved in. He obviously has been cheating on you for a long time. You are better off without him.

He has moved on in his life, he probably remembers the time together with you but prefers not to dwell on it.
