By upstaging the bride, you are going to do nothing but embarrass yourself and have people talking negatively about you for a long time. They will see through you little plot and no one will be appreciative of your plan.
If your intent is to show the groom what he's missed out on by choosing the bride over you. the best way you can do that is to show some class. Kill her with kindness. Be on your best behavior even though it might hurt you to do so. Look kick butt georgeous.
After the wedding have a big cry and a pity party for one and pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and realize something better is just around the corner. Something always is for those who are worthy of it.

If you feel you want to upstage the bride, you have ill will and should not be going to the wedding, full stop. You sound very vengeful and shallow -you'll probably end up getting riotously drunk and embarrasing yourself - that should be memorable for all the wrong reasons.....

Why would you think that you could be a risk of duing such a thing.
Find out what colour the bride is wearing as white is often no the case now. Dont wear the same colour and dont wear the same colour as bridesmaids either if you can avoid it. I would also suggest staying away from shocking outfits or hairstyles as the fingers may be pointing too you rather then the bride
apart from that just be yourself and thats it.

Wear a black minidress. But don't be mean. You can't really upstage the bride, you will only draw scorn from people who can tell you are a mean person trying to upstage the bride.

Why would you want to upstage the bride? It's HER wedding and you're just going to it. She didn't go through all the trouble to plan it if you're just going to ruin it for her. She spent money and time to make her wedding special and it wouldn't be fair to her if you tried to upstage her. She's inviting you to the wedding with the trust that you will be respectful. This day is about HER and the GROOM, NOT about you.

Do what one of my friends girlfriend did. She (would never admit this neither would my friend) was and still is a call girl. She would wear some of the skimpiest outfits known to human kind. She was not invited to the reception but showed up anyway. She had a tear-away skirt on. And while on the dance floor she popped the snap and all of a sudden was wearing nothing by her thong and CFMN pumps (come 'f' me now') from the waist down. It was a real eye opener for all. Later that night she was busted doing the tag team thing with 3 of the grooms men, none of which were her boyfriend.

The trick is to do it without everyone realising what it is you're trying to do. That way, when the bride starts complaining, everyone else wonders what she is on about.
First of all turn up looking absolutely knockout, nothing slutty but totally ravishing. Keep getting the grooms attention when she is talking to him, but feign innocence when he comes over to talk to you.
If all else fails, get off with her father not her hubby ;o)
