That's a funny way to put it, 0.5 months ago. If a month has 30 days then 0.5 months would be 15 days ago. So, you knew her before she got burnt. So if this just happened two weeks ago, she is still healing. Another thing. It took some courage for her to ask you out. She knows she is ugly. Apparently she judged you as a guy with some substance. Before she got burnt, what did you do together? Just continue doing that. Maybe the friendship will grow into something more and maybe not. I remember in College, I became friends with a very fat girl. Our friendship continued until she wanted more than friendship. I didn't, she did, so that was the end of the friendship. I liked her but she was not attractive to me. On the other hand I came to love a woman very much who had a disfigured face. So really, it depends on how old and mature you are; how much you love HER versus LIKE her. Above all be honest. Don't take advantage of her, even for a second. If she must be hurt, it is better now than later. Do right, my man. You may not really be the guy for her. Someone else may be waiting in the wings who isn't put off by her looks. Just make sure you treat her right.

Put yourself in her shoes -- would you want to date someone who, when he looks at you, gets the shivers in a bad way? Would you want to date someone who is at least in some way secretly appalled by your appearance? She deserves someone who isn't so put off by her burns that he finds he must ask a bunch of complete strangers on the internet whether or not he should tolerate her ugliness.

No you shouldn't date her because not personality is the only thing that counts. To have success when you date someone, you need to like his personality and even his appearance!! If you date her, you will soon hurt her and maybe even lose her as a friend!

that's a tough one but i think ultimately you have to go with your heart and not worry about what other people or what even your own ego tells you. I have learned to **** can mine and I am a much happier person because of it. So try to silence your thoughts and see what your inner being tells you it is the only real truth in this life.

If you cared about her "that way", you could date her. Otherwise don't get her hopes up. Help her find someone else who WILL give her a chance....
