Statistics about Easter:

Consumers are expected to spend $10.47 billion on Easter this year.

86.6 percent of consumers plan to purchase chocolate bunnies, jelly beans, marshmallow chicks and other traditional holiday merchandise.

Four in five consumers (80.9%) plan to purchase food for Easter.

61.9 percent will buy gifts.

53.3 percent will buy greeting cards.

42.2 percent will buy clothes.

Easter accounts for 13% of the dollar volume for holiday flower sales.

More than 9.1 million lilies are sold on an average Easter.

More than 90 million chocolate bunnies on an average Easter.

2 million marshmallow chicks (per day!) are produced for Easter.

16 billion jelly beans are produced for Easter.

If you laid all the eggs made at the Cadbury Creme Egg plant end to end, they would stretch 12,000 miles.

Looks like it's anybodys guess, as the Easter Season varies...
