TGIFridays.
Its a great place for a date.
Its classy, but not so fancy.
ITs not super cheap, but not super expensive.
Plus they have killer ribs there
You could just ask her. When Im going out on dates, I let the girl chose. When we are driving towards a restuarant I ask her where she wants to go. She normally says I dont care. Than tell her, she has to choose, its a rule. Make a laugh out of it, and joke around with her about it. She'll choose and you wont have to worry about making a bad choice

Definitely none of the above! If you live in an area that has all those restaurants there should be one that's not a "family chain". Find a little cafe with an outdoor seating area (if it's warm) and have lunch. After lunch go for a walk or to a park and sit and talk. We love this type of date. By the way, the reason I mention to have lunch is two fold, it's cheaper but more casual than dinner. If the date goes well you can spend the rest of the day together.

If you do not know her tastes I'd pick Applebee's. They have an extensive menu and most everyone can find something they like to eat. I'd stay away from Olive Garden for a first date. Good food too much garlic. I guess the simplest thing would be to ask her where she would like to eat.Have fun

Might as well go to McDonald's. None of those places will get you anywhere in anyway.
Instead, what you should do is talk to her about the type of food she likes and then mention that you would like to spend some time together with her getting to know her. Go to the grocery store with her to buy the stuff for a nice meal (don't forget the wine....wine is important). Now, here is the important part. You go back to your place and spend time preparing it together. Then, eating it together.
What should you be talking about? Well, her mostly. The point of this "date" is to get to know her. You do talk about yourself somewhat but the focus is on showing how your own experiences allow you to relate to her....that you understand her. You should take opportunities to compliment her on things in her life that she is proud of. Show compassion and understanding for her and reassure her and approve of her.
This is the type of environment that fosters intimacy with her. You will make more progress in becoming close with her in one night, doing this than in weeks and weeks of "dating". Ten years after a night like that, she will still be thinking about it. Ten years after your date at TGI Friday's, you will be lucky if she remembers your name, let alone where you guys went.
Get it?

I guess it depends on the girl. I don't know what Long Horn is, but Olive Garden can be a classy choice. The other three are more "fun and casual" dates. That might be what you want to do though, if you're just getting to know her. Do something "fun and casual" maybe afterwards take her bowling, lasar tag, or mini golfing.

Olive Garden.
There she will find whatever she likes to eat and you will fill up on pasta. Also it more romantic than any of your other choices.
Also, drinking wine at the Olive Garden makes more sense and will help you open up the date with good conversation.

*sings* Mc Donalds is your kind of place. They serve us rattlesnakes. Frenchfries up our nose. Hamburgers between your toes. Last time we all went there, they stole my underwear. I really didn't care. It was a dirty pair. Mc Donalds is our kiiind of place.......Go to Olive Garden. Get a nice quiet table so you can concentrate on listening to her without a lot of distractions.
Excuse the song...could not resist.

talk with her and ask her if she is more into Italian food or what not. She may mention that she really likes one of those places.
