I am just wondering. I recently picked up a book of poetry by Rumi, and have absolutely fallen in love with the guys work. He was a Muslim that believed in peace, and an interconnection between God and ALL things living. Or do you just watch the news and hate on the Shiites and Sunnis?

Where did I imply that the Sufis are the only Muslims that support peace? I have read the Koran. Thanks for the blind assertions.

I don't hate anyone.
I am afraid that I cant see you words of peace. They are clouded in smoke, blood and body parts from Islams actions.

Sorry but your comment is pretty stupid. You are basically implying that Sufis are the only Muslims that believe in peace. Not true mister, maybe you should drop that poetry book and read a book about Islam before you make such comments!

With Out satan on the Earth, DIVIDING Everybody up into groups, so that satan can kill, steal and destroy, we would all just be Human Beings.
Some would do good and some would do bad.
Some Good would do bad sometimes, some Bad would do good sometimes.
On and on.
Just Human Beings, choosing their Path in Life. For Good or Bad. At times. Everyday.

I hate what the Terrorist do, no matter who it is, I hate that they hurt Innocent People.
Bully's.
Satan is the master Bully.

Mysticism is the direct experiencing of the Divine. I think this is the only way to know 'God'. The Sufis are mystics and do know 'God's' love first hand. I love to see film of the dance worship, the whirling. The adherent is not whirling and dancing, the spirit of the Divine is holding him up. At those times the dancer is connected to the Divine.

hey u know what ............ i am a Muslim-- i dont generalise with a denomination -- but i dont run around killing people. also if u really want to know abut Islam then u are very much welcome to my home. i am a law-abiding citizen and my papa is a part of Law and order here in our country and my husband had been a part of Ministry of Defence years back. we are more law-abiding -- abiding not only to God but the country that feeds us. and Inshaallah (God willing) if there will come a day when my country people or family will need me, we will give our lives for our motherland.

EDIT: thumbs down. hmmmmmmmmmm, maybe because i forgot to mention that i dont belong to a muslim country. wow zero tolerance from some people. some people are just talks here.

If you think you know what Muslims believe & what that religion teaches, you may be surprised. Before you decide what you think of the Muslim religion, learn what it is really about. please have a look at this website. Then decide for yourself. (this website is created by a former Muslim) http://www.truthandgrace.com/muslimculture.htm

P.S. Don't go through the pictures section there unless you have a strong stomach.

I believe that regardless of religious conviction or action, every single human being is a child of the same God, and that God either loves each of us unconditionally or created each of us for a specific reason, and each human being deserves to be treated as though this were true, regardless of religious conviction or action.
