HOW LONG IS YOUR HAIR at the back as this is more then likley the problem your having.
If it is short try using wax and twinsting your hair at ends as too make it stick up the wax will hold it and give extra texture.

If it is on the longer side try using a pair if hair straightners to give more spike looking sections of hair then moose or hairspray.

Well, you can get gel first to put in your hair when it's wet, not too much though. Then blowdry your hair while you use one of your hands in a circular motion. After that, throw your head forward and blow your hair upwards. While your head is upside down, take some hairspry, (not those in a tin, but in a bottle), spray your hair and pull them in the direction it must stand.

Then you will have perfect even spikes.

Is your hair cut short enough to spike? You also need to have it razor cut. I had mine done that way last year..If it's cut right it isn't hard to spike. Just add gel and hairspray and push it all upwards in the back when blow drying.

First u gotta make sure u have the right cut to achieve this, a razor cut, and there are so many products out there that work, like HardUp by BigSexy, Fudge, ETextureline, etc. take ur product rub together in hands heating up to activate it, then apply thru hair, after shampooing, blow dry holding dryer underneath and taking fingers raking them in an upwards motion thru the back of hair. Its all about finding the right product for your hair so why not ask them wut they use when u see someone whos hair is like urs.

It needs to be an in. to in. and half to spike and razored really good to do anything first. Then you you blow dry going up instead of down. You could put a gel in before you blow dry, then after it's dry, use a pomade primarily close to the scalp - not the ends. If you put it on the ends only, then it will weigh it down. Good Luck!

you of course need a good styling agent...Redken cement is good...apply when wet then use a comb or vent brush(the one with wide spread bristles) and blow dry brushing upwards then seperate with fingers. Dont try to make it perfect....Messy is sexy!!!
