I have noticed that many who do not receive the answer they expect write cutting comments to those who interpret the question differently than they intended when they wrote it.

The elephant is described differently by each blind man standing in different areas around him. Might be a tail. Might be a trunk or a side, or an ear. It is still an elepant.

Just getting tired of rude people.

I chose spirituality because that seemed to be the only place that covered all. Food, travel, relationships, computers? Where would I put this question?

I will let this one go to vote because I don't think there is one "right" answer to anyting.

Some people ask questions purely so they can make themselves sound intelligent and when it doesn't work, they put up a fight usually in the form of the add comment button!

I think that you have hit upon something not only important to remember here, but all aspects of life. Interpretation is the key and we need to realize that different interpretations of anything...the bible, a question, a statement..whatever...are just that different. If we don't like those that are different what the heck are we doing here! I hope everyone reads your question and takes it like it was meant.

Good way of putting it. I answered a question the other day that...well, to be honest, I didn't see the point of the question, since it was a nice little debatable thing, people debated in a very nice way (for this place, you know), and the asker just picked someone who agreed with him/her completely.

Why ask if you just want someone to agree with you?

There may be many answers to one question, but only one of those answers is the truth and the correct one.

God's word is the only truth.

1 Thessalonians 2:13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

People don't expect one answer, but we are only able to pick one. I go through all my answers and vote thumbs up on the ones I like.

I often ask questions to make a statement and not because I need the answer.

Hi Mikki,
Very true.
Remember though....only Jesus can change a person from within.
so. the negative things you read are not/ever from him.
Somthing to think about. Jesus alone is the one truth.
God bless you as you seek the truth. -LIVE4TRUTH=]

The world is full of rude people, and many feel that if you dont understand their point of view and embrace it as well then you are wrong. Take Hitler for example.

Perhaps we all need to learn...don't ask the question, unless you are prepared to hear the answer(s).
