My husband is my best friend. We have been together since I was 19, I am now almost 29. A person goes through a lot of changes between 19 and 29. He not only allowed me to grow and change he was right next to me while I was doing it.
I have friends too, and I enjoy spending time with them. But they are not my husband. We share everything together. There is nothing I can't tell him.
Nothing brings more joy to my heart than me, my husband and our two small children playing together on the living room floor!

I've been married to my husband for 25 years. He's my soul mate, best friend. we have a great relationship. We spend a lot of time together. I also enjoy being with my friends. I enjoy being with them getting out and socializing too. Meeting different people is fun and a change of pace is refreshing. I try to use good judgment. Once or twice a week i go chill out.

Theres nothing like spending time with your loving husband and children. But every once in awhile we have friends over and sometimes we go over to their house but not to often. We are usually out doing something spending time as a family or we are just sitting at home spending time together watching movies, playing outside with the kids etc.

Both. You need both to be happy your friends can provide things your husband can't. You need to be your own person outside of a parner. Spend at least 2 days a month with friends. Have your husband do the same. Its hard because you or he might be insecure.

I would rather spend time with my kids, my sisters, my father, or my friends. my hubby and I have nothing in common except for children. (It's sad, I know) We don't argue but we really have nothing to talk about other than what's for dinner and what the kids are up to in school.
