Well, on average a company would pay a transcriptionist 8-10 cents a line, but if you are running your own company you have to figure in overhead. As a guess, I would go with 15 cents a line, but keep in mind you may be competing with companies that would unshoot your bid and end up winning. I think you should go with a lower amount, like 12 cents a line, and once you've proven yourself, then tell them you're increasing your rates. If they like you and your work, they'll pay it.
