my mother in law emigrated too St Kitts on 02.09.06, left us the cooker, the fridge, the telly, the sofas, the washing machine etc, brought to much baggage at the airport, it would have cost her £1200.00.
While she was at the airport, she called us (we were at hers doing the move of all the appliances from hers to ours) then told us that she was on her way back so we had to cancel the removal man!
Then she got home, told my partner that she will report us to the police if she dont get her things back, even though she said we could have them.
She finally done on a week later, so I cut the leads to the back of the fridge and put water down the back of the telly.. because she was racist towards me when I knew her, she has spent £2000.00 on carting all the appliances back to ST. Kitts .. they are to arrive on 21.10.06.. to find that they will not work!
Also, she left us a kitten, who is not neutered and unvaccinated she put him outside, so I have taken him on and hope there is nothing wrong with him, I have to have him neutered and vaccinated now.. I will be out of pocket ... that is why I did what I did to her appliances... she has also defrauded the benefit system and left the country.

I'm a mother in law....hope no one makes up stories about me...lol...i get on extremely well with my daughter in law...she's the only female i have in my family, so it's great to sit and talk girly stuff now and then, instead of watching footy and listening to the lads talk sport.....she's cool....plus she's the mother of my grandson and i will always love her for giving us such a beautiful gift...so yes being a mother in law has it's up's :)

My mother-in-law is alright. Even though we only hear from her & her son (my husbands brother) only when they need something. We go 1-2 months and not even hear from them. She doesn't even send my husband (her own son) a birthday card for his birthday. They don't come and visit and we don't go visit them that often. Its the same amount of distance for us to drive there as it is for them to drive here. So if they want to see us they can come see us instead of us having to drive to their house. My husband said he was always the outsider of the family and since i've been with him i've seen that he is. Everyone thought more of his older brother than him and whatever his brother wanted he got. His brother & wife just moved back home with mommy and mommy pays all the bills. If my husband and i had to move in with one of our parents we'd at least try to help out on the bills ya know. But anyways if they wanna call and talk then we talk but if they don't then oh well. Its not like we'll lose any sleep over it lol Lets hear your story. =-)

I guess it's a story that we all invent. They are human and we just think that they are bad.
