You can call your vet and tell them that the cat has passed away. If you want to cremate the cat the you bring the cat there and they can send the cat to get a private cremation or a group cremation (private being more money but you get a nice container for the ashes) or you can bury in the back yard but that might bring unwanted company digging through your yard.

Are you asking about the law? If you are you should have given a clue where you live. If it's in a city in America, I would call the health and safety people and ask if there are any rules on the disposal of small animals.
I'd just bury it.
If you want to upset cat lovers, you made your point.

I'm sure you probably want to bury the dead cats somewhere on your property. Did you say cats? Plural? There are many of them? If there's so many of them you may want to find out what's causing the deaths and try to correct it.
If these are animals that aren't yours, then I think I'd call the animal control office in your locality and ask them to pick them up.
Hope this information was helpful to you.'

Legally you aren't supposed to put them in any trash bins, and you aren't supposed to bury them where there is public water systems either....but you can bury it away from water pipes...or you can pay a small fee and take it to a vet or an animal shelter for them to dispose of.

My crazy friends put their dead cat in the freezer - DO NOT DO THIS. My friends are mad. They want to get it stuffed. I for one cannot get my head around why they would want to do this and only hope they do not have a power cut.

if its a pet, the honorable way would be to bury it. if it was a dead cat you found out on the road and you wanted to remove it. you could put it in a bag throw it away.
