Nothing, absolutely nothing. Guys don't do the dating anniversary thing. If you drop hints, he'll only feel obligation, not what you want. If you give him a gift, he'll think it's dopey. None of that is how they feel unless you bring it up, then at best they'll only play along to not hurt you about something that means nothing to them. (not the relation but the "dating anniversary thing")

Nothing if you haven't discussed exchanging gifts. It would be very embarrassing to him if you give him a gift and he doesn't get you one.
If you have discussed it, try to find some little token of your first date, or something he has mentioned all year, such as a CD of their favorite music.
