you have the same hair as me! I have had a few highlights on the top and a few layers around my face. I can wear it up or down. Don't do anything drastic before your wedding; you'll regret it. Good luck!

As a stylist I would not got for a drastic change all at once, especially right b4 a big event such as a wedding, try getting a cut like half way down ur back with some layers, it will still be long but more stylish, also maybe some highlights would be nice if ur hair is mousy looking.

Definitely do not cut major length off before your wedding. I would recommend hav ing your stylist cut some long layers into your hair to give it some shape. Possibly some face framing layers around your face as well. If the color is mousy, ask your stylist to put in some high and low lights to give your hair some dimension. The timing is good as in 6 weeks you would need a touch up on the color.

Years ago I had hair down to my bum, One day I decided that I was fed up of it and wanted a change so I went to the hair dressers and had it cut into a bob. Biggest mistake I have ever made. I have spent the last 4 years re-growing my hair to its former glory and Will never make the mistake of getting it choppped again. If I want a new look these days, I get a non permanent hair dye and try that out, (they wash out in 6 weeks) or I try putting it up differently or parting it different, or if im really drastic I'll get it feathered at the front.

You don't say how old you are, but waist length hair, is just too long!! It is not a good look on anyone and looks kinda freaky and as you say 'muppety'. 6 inches below shoulders is maximum. Also some people have that kind of long hair for so long, changing the style and length becomes an issue. I know someone who is 55 and dyes her hair jet black and wears it flat to her head and it looks appalling. She does not see herself as others see . Take the plunge, change your hair and enjoy your new look. Best wishes for your wedding!

perhaps consider cutting a good chunk off to your chest you could always donate the hair to a good cause that makes wigs from human hair for cancer patients.. try some long chunky layers and some around the chin/face area to frame your face the length itself is a drastic change but you'll find its less maintenance then your old length and its still very long hair do it soon cuz you don't want really different hair for your wedding day unless you are totally comfortable with it and relax its only hair it will grow back ... g/l

no I don't regret cutting my hair short I love it.It changed my look in a awesome way and pulled me out of a runt.I went from having long chest lenght dark brown hair to short spiky jet black hair.Since your 27 and married I think you try something cool but not to wild since your scared.Ok what about a classic bob.Gt your hair cut up to your chin in blunt layers that are think get thick eye brow skimming bangs. The bob should have piecy thick blunt choppy layers.Describe it to the hair dresser. It will look good trust me and if you want to style it all you need is pomade(hair wax) and making it piecy and adding a bit to the bangs. If your to scared to take the plunge and do the bob what about shoulder lenght hair with nice layers and side bangs. With shoulder lenght hair and side bangs you can do allot with styling like curling it and making it appear with lots of volume.Or I think this one will suit you loads shoulder lenght wispy layers to make it look shaggy and eye brow skimming bangs. And make it look like it has loads of texture. Those are my ideas for you.Good luck I think when hair gets to the waist it's time for a cutting.

try a layered look like in ur yahoo avatar, but first keep it kind of long so that if u dont like it, u can cut it again
also for ur wedding if u end up not liking ur hair u can just put it in a bun or something, and ur veil will cover some of it anyway. if u have ever seen FRIENDS he episode with monica and chandlers wedding u could put ur hair like monica's
btw--congratulations!

It rather does not remember what persons think of! i'd cut back off an inch so your chop up ends can bypass away yet then do what you p.c. with it! in case you like your long hair then actually save it, I rather love long hair that's eye-catching! Be your self, who cares what persons think of.
