you could be allergic on metal. Try to keep your ears as clean as possible.

Try using a cotton ball soaked in hydrogen peroxide just get as much of that as possible even if you get into your ear hair don't worry about that, just soak the skin at back of lobe for 5 minutes then soak the font same thing on that ear. gently try to turn the earring a little, if that doesn't work post again. If you are feeling nauseated, don't force the earring. Take deep calming breathes and sit while you are doing this. Maybe try to find a friend to help you. Rubbing alcohol will dry- not lube and free -the sore spots that are sticking to the post so Dettol won't help you..
DO NOT PULL THAT EARRING OUT WITH FORCE, it can tear your lobe. It is more likely you had the wound inside heal to the post rather then you are allergic to gold.
And do not use vaseline on earrings unless you want an infection - you would use neosporin product to help new earrings ease into the piercing.

I have a number of body piercings and I cant believe they told you it would be ok to change them after only 2 weeks - 6 weeks would be the average before changing earrings - I also wonder if the earrings you tried to put in were a bigger size than the ones you were peirced with - body piercing jewellery comes in a range of sizes called guages - the higher the guage number the smaller the jewellery post - eg usually earrings are pierced with 18 guage and normally most earrings are an 18 guage - do the posts look similar in size? Now you have this problem you have 2 options - take them out and let them heal and then get them repierced (in a couple of months) or keep turning and cleaning them (even though it hurts) and see your Dr for some antibiotics in case you have caused an infection... 2 weeks is definately too early to be changing your jewellery.

Sounds like you got an infection. My doctor told me I had to keep the original earring in for 6 weeks before switching. The best thing you can do, and you might not want to do this is, take that earring out for now, cause it is infected, and let it be for a few months, or maybe just a month. Keep cleaning it with the solution, just no earring. Once it has healed, go back to the doctor and hae it redone. The situation you are experiencing is common, I have repierced my earring every few years, I go through phases, so I have definitely had every possible situations with the earring. My best suggestion is to let it be, let it grow shut again, and have it repierced in a few weeks.

I think you might have an allergy to gold. I know I do. But for now use a cotton swab and put hydrogen peroxide on your ears. I hope the studs are not yellow gold. If they are can you run white 100% cotton thread in your ears instead of the studs? Then keep it wet with the peroxide. But I think if your worried at least call your doctor.

It sounds like you bruised them trying to force the earrings in. Try ice, it should take the swelling down and some of the pain. Have the clinic check your ears, you may have an infection, which would have caused the problem with the new earrings. Good luck.

You might have an allergy to the metal. Remove the earing, clan the area and apply a medicated ointment. Try putting the gold earing in the next day. Some gold has nickel; make sure yours don't.

Don't worry. Your ears will heal soon. Just keep them clean and turning the earrings - with clean hands. I've had several piercing.some worse than others. All will be fine.

redness and pain are the first signs of inflammation.. swelling and tenderness, even heat are advance symptoms of infection. your ear rings may be sticking to you due to fat that has dried in the hole or outside of the hole.. you should turn new earrings a bunch.. use peroxide to clean the fat and infection from your holes/rings, if that fails take them out.

take the time to stick the earring in your ear and twist it in slow. place your finger at the back to feel where it supposed to come out. doing that helps for pain a little also. if you can't push it further. twist it at that point it will go, might take a minute or two. to me green alcohol is best for cleaning piercings. that and mouth wash. hit me up for verbal instructions
