I see slight movement out of the corner of my eyes sometimes and i think i hear my name being called?

Question

Does anybody have any ideas. I feel like i am being watched sometimes when i am all alone and the hair stands up on the back of my neck. My eyes are Good, My hearing is good and i am not paraniod. These feelings come at the oddest of moments. I have even been awakened by someone calling my name when i am all alone at home. It doesnt happen very often, its very seldom as a matter of fact but it still makes me wonder. Serious answers only please, I already know how stupid this sounds.

Back when I was a "Believer," I had similar experiences. I still do to this day. However, I have discovered perfectly logical explanations for this.

For instance, seeing someone or something out of the corner of my eye. Then, when I turn to look at it, nothing is there. Sometimes I think I see movement. As it turns out, much of the detail of what you see from the corner of your eye is made up from memory. Without you even being aware, the eye moves rapidly in small angular amounts and continually updates the image in your brain to "Paint" the detail. All images in your eye are caused by light reflecting off of things. Light coming in from the corner of your eye refracts and bends quite a bit more than does light in front of you. So, you scan the room initially and "Paint" the image. Then light from an object in the corner of your eye refracts and bends such that it warps and doesn't match our "Memory" anymore. Our brain processes it as movement. Naturally, when you look at the object, the effect disappears. Unless you get that exact angle again, you may not be able to see this phenomenon happen again.

As for sounds, I used to swear that something was calling out my name. As it turned out, it was the compressor in the fridge. It would occasionally make a sound that sounded like my name. Since it was low pitched, it took me a while to find the source, as it seemed to come from everywhere. It turns out that there are many things that produce sounds that, after being processed by our brains, might sound like someone saying something like our name. Now, not everyone could hear this, and I figured out why. We are taught our name at a very young age. It is very important for us to respond when our name is heard. The part of the brain that processes sound is constantly checking to see if our name is called. Therefore, whenever we hear something that sounds even remotely like the sound of our name, it registers. Other people hear the sound for what it is, because it doesn't sound anything like their name.

It is not stupid, it is your connection with true nature; someone most likely is trying to get your attention, perhaps a friend or family member no longer focused in physical "reality". This physical world and/or expression is nothing but a projection of mind; everything physical is basically concentrated thought.

Do not be afraid; when I was writing my first book, I often would hear a voice early in the morning speak my name. Neither male nor female, but a combination of both, it was a soft loving voice, yet full of power. It was telling me that it was time to get up and write.

Depending on your beliefs, you might experience unpleasantness associated with this...but know that you in truth cannot be harmed...it is only energy, and sometimes energy can be seen as a scary thing when one does not understand; it may seem "evil", for that is the prevalent belief...in monsters. But that does not fit with actuality. Belief brings about its own kind; that is, if you do not believe in evil, it will not appear, since of itself it does not exist. Even if you saw something that others might call evil, you would realize it is an illusion, and thus it would disappear from lack of energy.

No offence meant right here the two - you could see a physician. people who right this moment placed unusual issues right down to supernatural reasons are VERY companies to disillusionment. continuously look for the main obvious, logical reasons for each little thing first, then and easily then, as quickly as those do no longer suffice, could you think approximately decision materials. i'm a company believer in somewhat some the stuff maximum persons scoff at, yet there rather isn't something incorrect in scepticism. See your scientific expert FIRST in case you rather are experiencing those issues. sturdy luck the two way!

No it's not stupid, stranger things can be happening. Are you a praying person? If so pray for a resolution. If not start. I do believe that evil spirits are all around us and with in us. If it is really very troublingseek some professional held of some sort. I'm not a doctor but I do know when someone should talk with one. If it where me i'd talk to someone soon. I would not want this crazy stuff happening to me at all. Good Luck:)

I think that there could be only 3 things that would cause this.1. You are on PCP. 2. You have schizophrenia. or 3. You have had dealings with Satan in the past and now you are trying to get away from him and he does not want you too.

It is not stupid.. You are a lucky fellow that you are expiriencing such things. Dont be afraid, we all are always been watched, and we are lucky to remain so. We are a part of Gods creation, believe in him & nothing wrong will happen to you. Do good deeds & all powers will help you out. If you feel that someone is with you, start talking to him as your guide. Put your problems in front of him. If he is your wellwisher he will try to help you out. If he wants to trouble you, he will know your existing troubles & would leave

Do you have any kids?

It may be because of stress in your life. Have you recently been divorced? Is this the first time you have lived alone? etc
Fear is a powerfull thing, dont let it rule you.

That has happened to me and it was an angel. Say hello to them, but don't expect a reply. If you hear your name called say, "Here I am, Lord."

If it's an angel, it's a good thing.

Something is going on to open you up to outside forces. I'm not into any of that hollistic jabber about auras or chakuras or anything... but there is something to it, and it is dangerous.
