the marines? my brother in law just graduated boot camp he has completly changed but for the good this has been his goal for many years we are all very proud of him and very patriotic .....what do u think of the marines compared to the army, air force, and navy?

One branch of the service without the others is kinda like a ride to town in a bus without wheels.
The USMC does an outstanding job of what they do.

they are all the best armed forces in the world. The marine core stands out as they are the first in and the last out...i will be just as proud as you are when my three sons age 9, 11, and 14 graduate boot camp.

i have alot of military friends and the one i tend to get along with better are the Marines. I think all are great but the Marines will always be a cut above the rest in my book!!

I am a former Army Officer but my son's godfather and my friend for over 30 years is a former Marine. So of course the USMC is at the top of my list.

I feel the same as rsist above. I'm ex-Air Force so I too am somewhat biased but none can deny the sheer awesomeness of the US Armed Forces.

Being an ex marine I am kinda biased but the services each have a role to perform and each of them do it great!

Good for Him !!
Military service matures people and teaches self discipline .
I'd like to see every H.S. grad and every dropout in uniform for 1 yr , non-combat status .
After that the military can offer the best the chance to go regular or reserve .
