Hi all,

I like to have really short hair, so it's usually done with trimmers. Can I do that myself? And if so, how? I'd say especially the back must be difficult. Is there a website that shows how to do it?

Thanks!

It's definitely not that difficult. I just did mine again last night for about the 20th time. I'm lucky because I have a trifold mirror on my medicine chest so I can angle the mirrors so I can see the back, but I'm sure you could get it done with a flat mirror and a handheld mirror. Keep he flat part of the trimmers against your head like the hairdressers to. I start going front to back, but then I do the whole thing again back to front. The trick is to keep going until you don't hear the hair being cut. Make sure the guard is on properly for the setting you want. I have a number of friends who have ended up with bald spots with other people trimming their hair because the guard fell off.

I do it years long now:trimming it.And it is simple For instace:a crew cut:1 mm.Ajust the trimmer .Go from the side backwards then the top:like wise. The back:start in the neck going upwards.
Do the wole thing the other way aound and you are done,

I will say this, hairdressers go to school for 2 years to study how to cut hair. No its not rocket science but is it really worth saving 20 bucks to cut it yourself and walk around with a terrible haircut?
