Dane Lover gave good advice above.

If you take them to the park or put them outside, they'll just pick up NEW fleas that they will bring home.

start using Frontline flea and tick medicine. this is the best medicine on the market today. bombing the house does no good if you're just going to bring the ones on the animals back home. as for what to do for 4 hours. i use a pest control company that uses a chemical that doesn't harm my dog. the only thing alive in my house is me and the dog, and the occassional science experiment in the fridge. bombing your house is messy and takes too much time and effort with cleanup afterwards. since i started using frontline my dog has never had a flea. good luck.

as long as you be particular not one of the chemical compounds can get in the position the cats are they're going to be threat-free. i'd recommend that you do extra then tape, when I flea bomb my homestead i tape garbage luggage and towels over the door each and every so often the cats will attain lower than the door and attempt to claw at stuff and rip the tape. What I do is on the bottom of the door roll up a towel and push it tight to the door then positioned the rubbish bag over in and tape it to the floor, the perimeters of the door, and on the right of the position the towel is. I do this each and every individual around the perimeters of the door. My cats have not in any respect gotten ill or some thing when I do this and flea bomb. good luck!

Before you start bombing your house, take all your pets to the vet or the dog groomers. Call them ahead of time to let them know your pets have fleas so they can set up appropriately. It will take at least 4-6 hours to properly clear 4 dogs leaving you plenty of time to go home and vacum and totally clean up your home and grab all bedding, spritz furntiture etc.. before you set off those bombs then get something like advantage while you are going home. If you have fleas Inside your home, then you definately have them outside as well. Don't forget to throw away your vacum bag and get orkin to come spray the yard.

Unless your house is completely empty, no furniture, nothing then bombs are a waste of time and money plus add chemicals in the air and on surfaces that aren't safe for people or pets. I recommend instead of bombing that you get a good, safe household spray from your vet and spray the areas where the fleas really are..under furniture, around baseboards, around couch and chair cushions, mattresses,in dark areas...vacumn every day.If you have a vacumn with a bag throw away the bag after every vacumning in an outside trash container, if bagless empty contents into a plastic bag, seal and throw in outside trash container. Treat your pets with a safe product such as Advantage or Frontline, wash pet bedding and any other surfaces pets frequent.

first off, before you bomb your house for fleas you need to take time out to shampoo your dogs and put the flea & tick medication on their backs. When you have that done you can take them to someones house because the bugs will be dead or dying. then you can take them to someones home.

That is sometimes a problem.. IF... IF you have cages for them.. Put them in the cages and in an outside area... IF they have been bathed with flea medicine.... take them to a friend's house to keep..... BY THE WAY... If you bomb with fleas on day one(along with bathing the cats) you MUST do it again in one week.. MUST MUST MUST... doing it again in one week will kill the larvae/eggs that will hatch during that time.. otherwise you will have fleas AGAIN.

Take them to the park if they are dogs, if they are cats, keep them in carriers, outside with you or go for a ride, if you have a detached garage, put the cats/in carriers in there, as long as they will be safe from harm.

Do you have a backyard, with a fence where they can play until they can go back in the house?
