I have a couple of Indian friends who are exceptionally brilliant, hard working, friendly and sweet natured. But, I am yet to come across such a Pakistani friend. Am I missing something or all of you feel the same? 40% of NHS professional staff are immigrants and most of them are Asians. So, what do you think? Did you have a good/bad encounter with these guys anytime in the Hospitals? Please share.

Not at all ...I have seen many hardworking intelligent and wonderfull people and i dont believe that race dictates your personality .... of course up to some point culture affects us all but ultimately it is dependant on the person not their race.

Some of my good friends are from Asia.
Unfortunatly in society today we lump together terrorists with a religious/national banner and think that all other from same religion/nationality are the same.
I do however think the UK goverment is rascist/discriminating to the non-minority non-key worker, non-single parents part of the country

From my own experience there are two types. The talented, hard-working, intelligent graduates who seek nothing more than to better themselves. Then there are the shirkers who always want something for nothing. I worked with one of those for years. He'd always be looking to sneak off early. And if we had a 3pm finish for a bank holiday he'd be looking to get off at 2.30. I lent him some money once (BIG mistake) and had to practically buy it back. HIS aim in life was to do as little as possible for as much as possible

i feel really bad that people nowadays seem to think its ok to blame immigrants, people of different cultures etc for everything that ever goes wrong!
Take each person as an individual, and return evil for evil to noone.

Threre is diversity among Asian that is also because it represents Muslim, Mongolian, Nigro, and Aryan with different culture, tradition, and langauges.

I'd love to know where you got your statistics from. There are lazy and bad tempered people in every race and culture - to ask if all Asians are the same is racist.
