They say love doesn't hurt but I have had my fair share of hurt. I think the reason why we get hurt is mostly cause our defenses are down when we have found that comfort zone with our partner or friend.Their reasoning for hurting us is that they know we are right where they want us to be.

when you decide to love someone, you are also giving him the right to hurt you! You cannot love and not get hurt. It always goes hand in hand. This is something that we have to accept. That is why when we start loving a person, we should also prepare ourselves from getting hurt.

Because if we had not cared about them we would not be disappointed and we would not feel so betrayed when they hurt us. You expect the ones you love to stand by you and be there for you and when they are the cause of pain it hurts double, if not a lot more.

Sometimes people we love (family included) feel that because of their close relationship with us that they are entitled to say or do anything because we love them. It hurts more because most of us expect better from those we love.

I don't know what the situation is but in my case it hurts more beacause i love taht person more... the hurt wouldn't be so bad if the love wasn't there.

The one we love hurts us the most because we are vunerable to them. We let down our walls and trust them. If they get angry they can use it against us. True love doesn't do that. If someone truly loves you they will use your vunerability to help you be a stronger person.

Because it's only when you really care that you can be deeply hurt. So care, deeply - and don't ask for a treatment like this

I am not really sure, I mean they tell you they love you and want to be there for you but then they break your heart. Why I am not sure, but I wish I new for myself.
