well its all about appearance these days and its sad and that's not just for man its women to i think we need to go back to the old day when man/ women didn't think all about appearance it was whats is in side the person and how they act when they are with you but i guess its 2006 right

These guys must have experience and so they would want to choose a better partner. The problem is that when a guy first like a gal, he usually like her for matter he thinks she has. That is why many broke up. It is only natural during the second time round, they are more careful.
No offence, but I think you will do the same thing.

Like wise, why do women seem to not be satisfied until they have changed a guy to the point he isn't who she even likes anymore.

unfortunately, it is because men tend to look at the physical aspects first. once they are attracted to someone, that's the only time that they will get to know the person deeper & know how the person is intellectual & personality wise.
