i would say learn latin coz tons of english words are derived from latin....

Latin is important for text but is a dead language but its cool.
German is sort of important and similar to english. So you might go for that one. I took german and the only hard part is the sentence structure which is exactly the same from Latin. If you learn Latin then german would be easy. If you learn egrman then LAtin would be easy.
I say learn both maybe that good too.

I think it's great that you have a passion for language! I do too. However, learning a language is usually done for one of two reasons... for work or enjoyment. If you are wondering what language to learn for fun... any of them will do, but you may have limited opportunities to use it. However if you are wanting to lern languages for work opportunities, I'd stick with those that will actually be useful. Chinese, japanese, arabic and spanish.
