Okay, people say, eat your five a day do they mean 5 fruits and 5 veggies or 5 fruits and veggies COMBINED? I mean 5 fruits seems to high, but five total seems to low. Me very confused

It's five portions of fruit and veg (ie you could have carrots, peas, an apple, an orange and a handful of grapes) but if you want more you can certainly have more - it's just a guideline of what you should have minimum!

Five-a-day means 5 portions of vegetables and fruit. E.g. 2 vegs + 3 fruit, etc.
