Here is a little story about a guy a knew that ripped off a drug dealer. He stole 5 thousand dollars from the neighborhood drug dealer. Well, he thought he got away with it pretty smooth.
But a few months later the guy shows up at a friends house.
As soon as he walks in a guy hits him across the face with a whisky bottle and it shatters across his face. It broke his nose and put a huge cut across his cheek. He was knocked out.
When he came around he had a gun pointed in his face and was surrounded by 4 guys. It was the drug dealer and the drug dealers supplier friends. They beat the hell out of him and robbed him of his jewelery and money he had. They told him he had 24 hours to come up with the money he took.
He got pistol whipped with the gun and messed up really bad.
One of the dealers friends then took the guy to the hospital to pose as a friend to make sure he didn't tell anyone what happened.
The moral of the story is don't do it.

robbing the local drug dealer would not stop the problem it would only create more trouble. If i were you i would get a mob of local concerned parents and beat the living jesus out of him.

That is actually quite a common crime - it's easier to nick drugs off someone then it is to smuggle them in the country.

Not a bad deal if you don't mind being stabbed, shot, arrested for posession, or dying of an overdose when using up your new stash.

Appreciate the sentiment but you would still be committing a crime and if caught would be judged to be no better than the drug dealer!!

good idea.in theory but the police are more likely to do you than him. its just easier because you probably wont put up much of a fight where as the dealer will fight to the end for his livelihood.

so you believe that breaking the law won't apply to you because you are robbing someone who is also breaking the law? bad idea call the cops and let them deal with it , i do however commend you for asking before just doing it! now just don't do it!

Worst idea I have ever heard!
He is probably going to be armed or at least have a posse of helpers with him. You do not stand a chance.
Rather rat him out to the police.
