Yes it was a poor display, too many 'stars' out of form. Congratulations to Scotland on a great result, it would be nice if England could play Scotland in a major finals again. I realise that laughing at the misfortune of England helps define 'Scottishness' but as an England fan I genuinely back Scotland against anyone they play, except of course, ourselves. Home internationals, anyone ?

I am a england supporter. But we clearly need Beckam back Downing cannot cross a ball like Beckam. Lamaprds far too greedy. Roooney to overrated. Crouch played goob but he failed to score because the service wasan't good enough.

I'd love to but Land of Scot has nothing to be proud of given the pathetic WC record of late. And yes, I'm embarrassed...at least as bad as Land of Eng is they do qualify for the Finals.

What IS there problem, is it Mclaren, is it lack of enthusiasm, why can't Gerrard, Rooney, Lampard.. et al, find the back of the net? Whatever the problem, it's a BIG problem, like you say, if they can't even beat Macedonia what hope is there for the future?
