The first sentence of the text/composition is: This is a story about a girl Helen by name.
Now dear grammarians, tell me if my use of indefinite articles ir correct. (it is not the text, this is my real question)
Now look at the last sentence of the imaginable text: As we remember this is the story about the girl Helen by name.
My second part of the question is: Do you think the articles used in the last sentence of the imaginable story are correct? Or there should be the following use of articles: As we remember this is a story about a girl Helen by name.
When anwering please try to justify your answers.
Thank you very much in advance.

it seems like you're combining two independent, but related thoughts into one sentence w/o anything transitioning from one to the other.

i would write this:

This is a story about a girl--Helen by name.

Using the definite article would be saying that the article is the only one of its kind. As a first sentence, it would be 'a girl, Helen by name' but if one had already introduced a group of girls, then you could say 'the girl, Helen by name' as it is plausible that she was the only girl called Helen in that group.

I think your second version is better. It may not be the only story about her and she certainly isn't the only girl called Helen.
Punctuation:
You have two sentences, with subordinate clauses in the second.

Now .... text. As we remember, this is a story about a girl, Helen by name.

Helen by name is very tortuous though, don't you think?
