It could be any time now.
On average, dogs come into heat about every 6 months. But just like with women, their cycles can vary amongst individuals. In dogs, it is also affected by the weather/seasons. If their 'time' happens to hit in the middle of winter/cold, they might be delayed until spring. (In southern climates, they come into heat year-round because the winters are so mild.)
Don't wait around until she comes into heat again, however. Hurry up and get her spayed before she does. Spaying a dog before her FIRST heat cycle almost guarantees that she won't get breast cancer later in life. Coming into heat just once raises those odds significantly, even if she's spayed before her second heat. Each additional time she comes into heat for the first 3 years of life adds to those odds even more.
Please consider the surgery ASAP. She'll live longer and have many fewer medical problems that are COMMON in unspayed females due to hormones and reproductive organs. (Trust me....once you go through a dog having pyometra, you'll never want to take that chance again.)

Sometimes they can take a while to settle into a heat routine. So from 6 months which is pretty early to be honest, so I am guessing it was a small dog as they come into heat earlier, waiting till they are 15 months for another heat cycle would not be uncommon.
She may have had another heat cycle and you may have missed it. You do not say what type of dog. Some breeds only come into heat once a year.
Is there a particular reason you are waiting on her heat cycle?
I would not worry too much, the least they are in heat the better and unless you intend to show and breed I would honestly recommend that you get her spayed to prevent cancer.
If she is bleeding and shouldn't be, take to a vet it could be a bladder infection. Honestly you do not sound like you are into showing your dog, I may be wrong, but get her spayed then you won't have to worry any more.

She could have another one any time now. Dogs usually go in heat twice a years. There are some dogs that only have one heat a year and others that have 3-4. Get her spayed and you won't have to worry about it nor will you need to owrry about mamamry cancer, pyrometria, false pregnancy, reproductive cancers..she'll be healthier and happier.

Most dogs can come into heat every 6 months.
Are you planning on having her spayed before she comes into season?

They can have heat cycle every six months. Spay her if you are not intending to breed. Healthy for her helps prevent cervical cancer. And a lot less stressful on you when she is in heat.

Mine is 4 years old and she's had it at least 4 or 5 times (very likely once every year).
They sell the doggie tampons (or female dog diapers) in stores. My Dachshund has had one on her butt every time she is in heat. The heat would last about 10 days.
Don't worry. Your dog is not wounded.
