when the hindus had a civilisation while they were still swinging from the trees! The christians and muslims think they are actually more evolved to preach a civilisation that had plumbing in 3500 BCE. Who needs your Iman and guilt trip go back to your caves!

They get to preach because they have the biggest guns.

2000 years of murdering people has made them quite good at killing.

The ancestors of all modern Hindus, Jews, Christians, and Muslims are the same - the likely candidate a being paleontologists named Homo Sapiens Idaltu (Idaltu for elder.) The first specimens of fully modern humans in the middle east date back a hundred thousand years - tens of thousands of years before any comparable fossil from the far east is known.

That's the first hole in your theory - nobody has been "swinging from trees" any time recently. We are the same species, all of us.

But if you are being metaphorical and only refering to civilization, I'm afraid that there you fall down as well. The earliest known advanced civilizations - ones with writing - are from the middle east. In 3500 BCE, in Mesopotamia (today's Iraq) the Sumerians wrote on clay tablets before anyone else anywhere wrote anything - India inclusive. At around the same era, British druids had begun building Stonehenge, whose astronomic symmetry and precision continues to impress researchers today.

So don't be too impressed with yourself. Despite the irrational pride some Hindu nationalists like to exhibit, the simple fact is that much of the rest of the world was advancing every bit as much as your part of the world - that doesn't take away from their accomplishments, but it does mean that the chauvinism about it is somewhat unwarranted.

coming from a secular country i do have some Hindu freinds ....... most of them were cool (my female freinds are really happening) while others were indifferent brats (mostly men). we do have a lot of fun together esp during fests.

also u will be shocked to hear that my ancesstors were Indians, my great, great, great grandfather had fought alongside Gandhi, but do u know what happened to my grandpa after Independence?. he was burnt live with the home and rest of the family were forced to leave the country. i now live in Far East and i love it here. i would die for my country and my country people. also i dont go running aroung hurting people avenging the death of my grandpa.

oh u know what .......... on my visit to India last year, i decided to visit some of the temples. but do u know the preists (only the preists not people, people were really cool) the moment they saw me , they took to their heels. do u know why?. because i am a muslim. and do u know what shocked me the most ........ 2 seperate places of worship -- one for the wealthy while other for the poor and thedenomination of men with caste (Brahmins and non-brahmins, the former look at the latter with so much disrespect).

well u speak of so much about Hinduism, but where is the tolerance in ur speech?.

Who else will peach morality then? It was Abraham who through God started preaching (what we call nowadays) civilised rules.

because everyone else preaching is doing the same thing--so why is anyone preaching. Maybe they should just live as an example and let everyone else do the same.
