hey i have counter strike 1 with condition zero and day of defeat. when i select an online game and the loading box appears, sometimes counter strike exits and im back onto windows, does anyone know why this is + how to fix it? cheers.

Make sure you have all of the latest CS patches and Steam patches for your games. Update your graphics card drivers and Direct X as well so you have the most up to date version and that should sort it. Else look on the Valve forums and search and see if people have had the same issue.

I used to have the same problem as you until I built myself a new computer recently. I am pretty sure it has something to do with your video card or onboard video, so try updating the drivers. It has nothing to do with steam patches. Good luck to you. =D
