First of all, I would like to congratulate you in advance for you upcoming wedding. ..Basically, I dont really know who exactly invented text messaging but as far as I know, SMS originally started in Asia specifically in Cebu, Philippines. Most Cebuanos (people living in Cebu), by nature, are particular with cutting cost in a lot of things. Be it from clothing, food and shelter. In other words, we'r smart buyers. Then way back 1996 wherein mobile phones were being introduced into the market (Nokia phones), not much people can afford it since not just the unit was expensive, but also the airtime rates. Then SMS was introduced during the following year, a lot of people were able to buy mobile phones and text messaging is a lot cheaper than airtime rates. Since then, the news about text messaging or SMS spread out the entire country and eventually, the entire world.

I hope I have answered your query. Believe me, its not just only you who have a "happily ever after" thing with text messaging. There have been a lot of people here in the Philippines ended up marrying thru text messaging. Its a great tool for people who are in long distance relationship.

BFN, as state above, is bye for now yet i'm no longer particular what TTC skill. If it develop into TC, i'd say it meant take care. i'm 32 and that i do fairly some texting. i will shorten issues up and abbreviate, even with the indisputable fact that it relies upon upon what i'm texting and to whom i'm texting. If that's someone who i understand don't have fairly some journey texting, i do not regularly shorten issues up. yet on condition that I in elementary words have one hundred sixty characters, there are cases that i will shorten up words. Edit - Jarrod - what's incorrect with someone over 20 sending texts? If i'm at paintings and that i have no privateness, there is not any longer some thing incorrect with me being 'previous' and doing it. I ensue to be fairly gifted with my texting and in the previous week were given international interest (granted it develop right into a gasp piece) through triumphing a textual content competition plus a magnificent examine which I received in the mail in the present day. i do not dangle out in chat rooms, i do not use T9, I spell out my words for the most section and when I do abbreviate that's saying some thing like 'bck' fairly of 'again' and that i do not imagine i'm 'cool' because i visit textual content quickly. do not choose. Edit - Jarrod - I stand corrected. I did examine your answer incorrectly. i develop into wondering that you've been saying that adults shouldn't textual content, you've been saying they ought to not shorten words. Sorry to get protecting. i do not use abbreviations which consists of ttyl, ttfn, and so on.
