I think it's to do with their mental development it doesnt bother them in the same way as older children or adults, they are at a young age not concerned with what others think so it may be that they are aware but they dont question it. Its almost like moral development I mean they dont mind stripping in front of anyone either until they reach a certain level of awareness does that help?

Children have better things to worry about than snot. Like playing.
Also young children havent got the mental capacity to blow and wipe their noses.

I'm not sure I agree. My daughter is 18 mo and is obsessed with not having a runny nose. If it's running, she actually comes up to me and asks me to wipe it for her! It's actually getting to the point where I'm hoping she stops noticing it!

There nerves aren't fully developed yet, therefore they don't feel it. The same is how can a kid just let the pee pee sit in their diapers or the other stuff?

i think they just dont care and would rather play.
kids dont like to blow their nose...or sense most kids are ALWAYS running....it seems like that is the norm for them

They do know its running they just don't know what to do when it starts running. That is why Mummy has to blow it and wipe it!!

How do we adults know that we are doing alot of evil deeds like creating wars etc when we know that its all wrong.

I've had 4 and been through it with each one.
I think they no it's there but ignore it.
