It is normal.
They normally like to play and mock-fight each other after they are fed, then they are contented and play crazy.Sometimes there can be a bully in the litter, and it can hurt another puppy, but they normally know when to stop. It is also the natural way they develop the nescessary skills needed to survive later in their lives.
Alsations are very intelligent and obedient dogs and with the right training will learn to tolerate each other, without you having to split them up.

Yes indeed they can get to the point of even trying to kill each other. Especially German Shephards. Are they sisters?
Are they spayed? Have they grown up together? How old are they? If over 9 months then separate NOW!!!
The way we bring our pets up, the interaction they have with the family, training have an important role in the outcome of how they behave with each other as they get older. If you have two unspayed female shepards together and by the sounds of it I would imagine they are and trying to gain dominance. It will only get worse.
I am only going by the fact that you say it scares you here, it rings alarm bells in my brain, because if you are scared I can only imagine how a child would be if it accidently found itself in the company of your two dogs. Dogs form a pack, any more than 1 dog is a pack in their eyes and to the death it may be as far as they are concerned. Sorry but I have seen shepards fight it out before and it is pretty brutal. That was a mother and daughter at the time. The mother was spayed. Nasty, very nasty indeed. Blood, stitches, the works. Very bad training and family interation was half the problem with the pup at an early age.
On the other hand I have two females here and they play together, infact I also have two males here as well, all 4 play, one of the females best game is tiggy and there can be quite some barking, rolling around, grizzling, but it is play, not agressiveness, there is a difference. Two are also sterilized, two not. None are shepards, they are Labs.
Only you can tell the difference between agressive grizzling play and out right fighting. If there is blood drawn you have a problem.
Please always be aware, if you are scared, then do something about it, because there is always the potential for danger, especially for the unexpected child, it can happen to anyone, anywhere.

Puppies fight sometimes, but mostly they are just playing with each other.
I have 2 dogs at home, a 4-yr-old Dachshund and a 9-month Yorkie. The Yorkie likes to "ignite" by teasing the hot dog with little bites on her ears and tail, and then they'll start chasing each other in the house. Sometimes they bite each other hard and the bitten one starts barking and crying, but they still keep playing...
I assume that they know each other's limit. Even though on several occasions it takes me to yell at them and break up the fight, no wounds or deep teeth marks are found on them.
They keep each other company and just fight on...

Puppies like to play, & play hard! But as long as no one is getting injured, it is ok to let them play however they like.
My Rhodesian Ridgebacks play rough, & if all you could do was hear them, you would think that I have a ring set up for dogfighting. But no one comes in with a scratch on them...
Your puppies most likely were raised properly by the breeder & were given time in the litter to identify themselves as a dog & learn 'bite inhibition'. Even though you may see teeth bared, or even grabbing eachother with their mouths, they are not bitting hard enough to cause damage or break skin. And unless you hear them squealing in pain, they are both playing with the same rules.

We have a 5 month old. Every night at 9pm he goes crazy. Its a puppy thing. The more tired he is the worse it is. he likes to wrestle with other dogs. many times his own size. They get rough sometimes but stop short of hurting each other. As long as its not fighting out of meaness its ok if its not too rough. If they really are doing it out of anger they need to be stopped.

puppies will instinctively fight each other, it's basically their training session with each other to prepare them in the future. If you only had one dog you would have to play tug of war with it. It teaches the dog skills and such, and they do know when to stop.
Just make sure that they aren't around things that will hurt them, because as dogs, they obviously don't know the dangers of hot water if you put it around them.
