I'm a 31 year old man and I've recently committed myself to the Weight Watchers diet in a desperate effort to get down to a healthy weight again. I am approximately 3 and a half stone overweight. In order to encourage myself I have set myself a goal of achieving the loss in six months - so I have a target to work towards. Can you please tell me, is this a sensible goal? Is it achievable? Is it a healthy timespan? Is there anything I should be aware of? Also, if you don't think its a healthy or achievable amount to lose in six months, how much do you think I should look at losing in that timeframe?

Yes I'm very serious about this - but I want to do it naturally and I do not intend to buy any "weight loss products" to help me. I would like to do this just by a healthy diet and increased exercise.
