Don,t do it.Leave the meat in a closed plastic bag in a container filled with cold water.It will take no more then 30 minutes.If you use the microwave to much moisture from the meat will vanish and the taste changes like its cooked in water.No and there is the danger of poisoning yourself.Or if you know the day before that you need it to be defrosted?Put on a plate in the fridge overnight.Job done and slowly:the slower the better the taste of the meat.

Yeah I've done it before. You'll have to defrost them quite slowly, if you put the microwave on a full blast the ends will be cooked and the middle bit frozen.

I wouldnt, you need to be carefull with pork, if its not defrosted properly when you cook them, can cause all kinds of tummy upsets. Try putting them in cold water for a little while, that will help defrost them a bit quicker.

you can defrost anything you want in the microwave but when you do it make sure the settings are'nt high and do them for a couple of minutes at a time or you might over do them and they will start to cook

i prefer not to defrost food in microwave as i think it starts cooking during the defrosting process!
Best way to defrost meat is in a bowl of COLD water and leave tap trickling!
