Use cooking oil or spray, or butter. Also-if the pan is coated with Teflon, try not to wash the pan with any abrasives like Brillo or scouring pads. This will eventually make food stick because you'll scrub the non-stick coating away. For really tough stuck on food, soak your pans in hot, soapy water for at least an hour, and wash with a sponge or dishcloth. Good Luck!

I used to work for Macy's in the housewares department....the gourmet cookware reps always told us to tell customers, that you should use oil or butter in a stainless steel pan, and not to turn the heat up too high. If you have quality cookware the pan should conduct the heat properly and you don't need as high heat. That should help with sticking too. Hopefully this is useful information.

Use olive oil. Start with a empty pan. When warm, add a little oil, swirl around. Add food. Don't overcook. Happy eating.

Don't like them myself but I heard you should always keep the heat down, nothing on high.
