You decide to go out with your family to the beach,but cant get a day off.The day of the trip u call your boss and tell him the you're sick and cant make it to the office.However while having fun at the beach u happen to run into ur boss(OH MY GOD).Whats ur excuse or what do u do?

Knowing that I am completely screwed, I would just explain it to him that I took some new medication "a miracle cure" and that the doctor suggested that I go to the beach because the ocean air would help with my condition.
He will probably let me get away with it once.
At my job, we have PTO time. When I call in I don't give an excuse I just tell'em I'm not gonna be in.

I'd tell him the doctor said the job was making me sick and I needed some R&R in the sunshine and a breath of fresh air, and my family was keeping and eye on me in case I got worse.
