After my ex girlfriend used me earlier this year, I have struggled to make ends meet. Before I met her I had no debt and now I have over $18,000 in debt from having to get credit cards to survive off of, etc. I have only made a mere ( for the first time in my life ) $4500 in net pay this year and I have a car that I owe over $15,000 on now. I have done what I can to help myself and cannot pay any of my bills. The collection agencies harrass me with letter's and I have changed my number and address to protect myself from further harrassment. I need advice as to how I can get out of this growing and lingering debt that is ruining my once perfect credit and my healthier soul.

sell the car, find something cheaper. Look at what you spend and cut where you can. Work out a payment plan with your creditors and find a second or even third job. You should be able to make more than $4500 in today's economy.

well, get yourself aonther job and use that money to make ends meet. the job you have now(if you have one) use that to pay off your bills
start with the lowest bil and pay the most on that until it is paid off, then work on the next, then the next. still pay your bills, but focus more on the one that you are paying off. for instance....pay the minimum on the other while the one at hand, pay twice as much. it will get better. 18,000 in the hole is not the worst.
