You need to be careful, I think it comes under the firearms act if you are found to be in possession of it in the UK. You can get it easily in France but the internet is the best place inthe UK. Just be careful!!

Apart from the fact it is illegal - what are you defending yourself against? I think you might just need to enrol in a class - and try to stay out of high risk areas maybe - don't flash expensive items - buy cheap looking headphones for your phone/i-pod. Don't carry wads of cash in your wallet/purse.
Or move.
Or - you could buy illegal pepper/cs sprays and get arrested for carrying a firearm!

You have to have a license to carry pepper spray in HI. Maybe try a gun store?

you don't need that,just carry perfume in your pocket.thats what we did before pepper-spray
