chop it off, have the stump ground down and then start a fire in the top of the root ball..let it burn out..might have to throw some poison on it too just to make sure it doesn't come back.

ah, the big eternal elusive question.
'what to do when i wake up with a kickstand?' indeed.
set your alarm clock to fifteen minutes earlier and get some good porn. face your situation and learn to enjoy it. go get all your creams etc to take it down quickly and neatly. dont meditate on its virtues long. just get it over with so you can engage your day.
a more preferable remedy might be finding a girlfriend that is a 'morning person' such as yourself. but then you might need to set the alarm .5hr early.
in a time crunch? wake up late with the same symptom? think of something really disgusting and ugly in nasty detail and that should help. jump in the shower with cold water running (scary but if youre really in a rush youll do it).
The parasympathetic nervous system might also help keep it down if you stimulate your mind with coffee early on...that works for me just fine....after the disgusting thoughts and cold shower of course (damn that snooze button and good dreams)
just try to get that blood going elsewhere in your body.
focus on this for the next few days and youll be well off to self mastery in no time.
