Since a lot of rip offs occur on E-bay, I would first list it in your local paper or else go trough a company that specializes in selling cars on E-bay.

We just bought a new vehicle. But I suggest you advertise your car on autotrader.com , We sold our old car through that site. And got a better price, than what the dealership was going to give us for a trade in. And it really is not that expensive.
You could also list it on EBay motors. You would be surprised at what cars go for on eBay auctions. And you can check out what vehicles like yours are selling for on either site, before you list yours.
Good Luck.
