Christians, are you tired of people misrepresenting our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ?
It is not our place to judge because that is the Lords Place and His Place alone.
You seem to have a double standard here. Dear Rev.
What College did you acquire this vast anointing?
When you learn to stand up for Christ and defend the Word, It is only then, You might be worthy to comment on it.
The Character of a Godly Man:
Psalm 1:1-3 Ref.
Christian men willing to answer the Lord’s call to live godly lives in an unrighteous world. A man with this mindset will understand the importance of:
Ordering his life with Christian counsel. A God-fearing man is not too self-sufficient or proud to ask for help. He seeks biblical counsel regularly so that he can succeed according to God’s principles. He is open to advice based on scriptural truths, whether for his home life, personal finances, or business matters. Many of us, however, are prone to seek opinions from those who appear successful, even if they do not share our faith. How wise can ungodly men be when they have chosen to live without God? How smart are we when we seek their advice?
Limiting his deepest friendships to fellow believers. Only the like-minded — those who love Jesus and desire to follow Him — are suitable to be intimate friends of a believer. Remember, our companions can influence us positively or negatively. Those who reject Jesus will never guide us toward Him. Those who are casual in their faith can influence us away from God’s standards. While the Lord expects us to relate to all sorts of people, it is wise to restrict our “inner circle” to Christ-followers.
Being committed to defending the truth. Concerned with the things of the Lord and His church, a godly man will TAKE A STAND against the profane use of Jesus’ name. Not only will he speak the truth about unrighteous patterns of behavior and their destructiveness; he will also oppose ridicule of the Bible or other Christians. Ref. Psalms 1;3 Jer 17:8 14:1 12: 1-2
Men, the Lord calls you to godliness. What will you say?
Standing Firm in Faith
1 Corinthians 15:57-58
God knows that the spiritual battle rages fiercely and that His children are under attack. What does His Word tell us about the Devil’s schemes?
The schemes are well organized. Satan’s plans have one purpose: to oppose the Lord. He attempts this by hindering God’s children and preventing others from joining God’s family. The Greek word for “schemes” is methodea, from which we get our word method. His tactics vary but untruths are a common device because his native language is lying. In fact, Jesus called him the Father of lies (John 8:44).
The attacks are personal. Ephesians 6:12 describes spiritual warfare as wrestling against evil forces, a picture of hand-to-hand combat. That is very personal. Satan tailors strategies to our weaknesses and seeks to discredit God in the eyes of His church and the world.
The plans are backed by powerful forces. We are battling against a large army — rulers, powers, the dark forces of this world, and the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. (v. 12) Fortunately, “Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world” (1 John 4:4).
What are we to do against such an enemy? Ephesians 6:13 tells us to stand firm. This is not a passive stance but an active one. It requires remaining alert, praying in the Spirit on all occasions, and wholeheartedly giving ourselves to the Lord’s work. (v. 18)
The stronger our faith is, the easier it will be to maintain our position in our spiritual battles. Soldier of God.
Standing Together in a Deceitful World, or in Yahoo.
1 Corinthians 1:4-10
As believers indwelt by the Holy Spirit, we all belong to God’s family and have a special relationship with one another. We are spiritual brothers and sisters, called by God to live in loving agreement with one another.
Unity in the church or yahoo, occurs when believers live in submission to the Holy Spirit and let Him control attitudes, emotions, and actions. By surrendering the “outward things” that we value about our church — such as its worship style, appearance, and programs offered — we position ourselves to be in one accord with our fellow believers. How can we learn to lay aside our own goals and preferences in order to help our spiritual family? By remembering how precious we are to the Lord and how important others are to Him as well.
Not only is the concept of surrender vital for unity; it is also a key element of love. Biblical love — in Greek, agape — willingly sacrifices so that someone else might benefit. It is the “super glue” that keeps the body of Christ together and enables us to put the interests of others ahead of our own (Colossians 3:14).
Furthermore, within any fellowship, there exists a variety of opinions on many different topics. Diligence and cooperation, along with lots of love — a divinely given fruit of the Spirit — are necessary to preserve the peace (Ephesians 4:3; Galatians 5:22-23).
When we know what we believe and are knitted together in love, error has difficulty penetrating, and false teachers do not stay around. In light of some differences of opinion among believers you know, how might you show love to your spiritual family? argue? Simply state your Biblical fact, and leave it alone. When Believers unite together, the evil will leave among us. Why can we not do this? Spiritual fortitude come too mind.

You take your popcorn and candybars, you pleading pacifist, and go preach your false doctrine some where else.

Thanks for your question, brother. I myself am not a Christian, but am rather Satanic, for lack of a better word. Still, having been brought up in an Anglican family, I feel very offended when people use the name of Jesus to lend weight to their own selfish desires.
There are also a sizeable number of cult members on Yahoo. I support freedom of religion, but these cults do not seem like real religions at all. They claim to be Christian, but they say bad things about the Cross and they have no idea about the nature of Jesus!
Blessings and may the true followers keep the faith pure and uncontaminated.

I wouldn't change a thing. The Bible is a wonderful vehicle for atheism. Most atheists begin questioning the existence of God after they read the entire Bible.

Yes! Your words ring true brother christian! We need to stick together because us dorks have been punished long enough. We dorks, who couldn't get a member from the opposite sex to look at us for many years, should unite and be dorks together. We are dorks! I say it proud! Just because we can't be "cool" or "sexually appealing" doesn't mean we aren't people of FAITH. "Just have no life and tell others how to live theirs" is my motto. I love living a life that will deam me a dork and pressure me into a marriage that I don't want to have, just so I can have sex. YEAH CHRISTIANITY!

i'm SO tired of it. just because people have different beliefs they have think they have the right to bash God and bash me for knowing that He is real. i am a christian (i don't just call myself that because i was born into a lutheran family, i say that because i mean it, unlike alot of people) and i really try hard not to disrespect other people because of their religion, even though i don't agree with anything else. at the same time,it's just as wrong for us to tell people that their going to hell, or that we are better than them because we believe in Christ. THAT is the biggest reason people mock/hate Christ and christians. noone is better than anyone else in the eyes of God. we are all sinners. murderers, liars, thieves, adulterers, nonbelievers, everyone. all sin is equal. the only difference is the faithful will be saved. you are doing good work just by bringing up this topic. peace be with you.
