they used to get along great, but now my spaid female acts like she has never in her life seen my other cat. She hisses at her and smells her like she has never seen her before? Do you think she's jealous? The Mama kitty doesn't even act different really, just motherly.

I wonder why she's jealous, she gets even more attention now because the other kitty is busy with her babies.....and to the deep frying freak......no comment!

The female with the litter, smells different and sounds different to the other one. Also the mother will be protective of her kittens.
It also sounds like there is a dominance struggle. Usually the female with offspring is the dominant one and maybe the spayed one used to be top cat and is now trying to regain her spot.

Just wonder why you didnt have both your cats spayed?

Your kitty is stressed out because of the presence of "new comers" - the new kittens. She (he?) is lumping the mother cat and kittens together, that is why the kitty hisses at momma cat even though they have known each other for a while. The obvious thing to do is to "de-sensitize" the stressed out cat to the
kittens and momma cat. How? Well, if you can manage it, make a cosy nest for mamma cat and her kittens in box or basket that you can cover with an ordinary laundry basket when momma cat is out. Leave the box with the kittens in the same room as the stressed out cat (supervised by you of course) and let them get used to one anothers' presence. They will you know, eventually.

Here's what you do. Take the kittens, bread them, deep fry them, and eat them. That will solve your problem.
